We are supporting an international B2B SaaS company in the search for an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join its People team on a full-time interim assignment.
This role combines both HR Business Partner and HR Operations responsibilities, supporting the Spanish organization (approximately 150 employees) across the Tech and Operations teams. It is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic business partnering with operational excellence.
Your responsibilities
HR Business Partner
Partner with managers across the Tech and Operations organizations on day-to-day people matters.
Provide guidance on employee relations and Spanish employment law.
Support managers in managing performance, organizational changes and employee development.
Participate in competency-based interviews for key hires, providing behavioural and cultural fit assessments.
Coach managers through sensitive people situations and recommend compliant, business-oriented solutions.
Lead or contribute to HR projects, process improvements and organizational initiatives.
HR Operations
Maintain accurate employee data and HRIS records.
Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure HR data accuracy.
Manage employee queries related to contracts, leave, benefits and HR administration.
Produce HR reports and people metrics for management.
Drive the digitalisation and continuous improvement of HR processes.
Compliance & Employee Relations
Advise managers on Spanish labour law and HR compliance.
Support disciplinary processes, dismissals and employee relations matters.
Coordinate with external legal advisors when required.
Represent HR in meetings with local labour authorities when necessary.
Profile
We're looking for a hands-on HR professional who combines strong operational execution with excellent business partnering skills.
You will ideally have:
7+ years of experience in a broad HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role.
Experience within an international Tech, SaaS or fast-growing environment.
Strong knowledge of Spanish labour law and employee relations.
Experience managing HR operations, payroll coordination and HR data.
Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
Proficiency with HRIS platforms and advanced Excel.
Experience leading HR projects or process improvement initiatives is a strong plus.
Languages
Fluent Spanish (mandatory).
Professional English (mandatory).
French is a plus.
Working model
Full-time assignment (5 days/week).
Based in Valencia, with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
Start: Mid-July 2026.
Duration: Until the end of December 2026.
Freelance / Interim Management assignment.
