Interior & Architecture Draftsman

1. Architectural & Interior Drafting

• Prepare detailed architectural and interior working drawings.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans and detailed layouts.
• Prepare furniture layouts, flooring layouts, ceiling layouts and wall elevations.
• Develop detailed joinery, furniture and interior construction drawings.
• Prepare staircase, toilet, kitchen, faade and other relevant architectural details.

2. Site Execution & Technical Coordination

• Coordinate closely with site engineers, contractors, vendors and project teams.
• Understand actual site conditions and modify drawings accordingly.
• Resolve drawing-related site issues and provide practical detailing solutions.
• Ensure drawings are technically executable and coordinated with MEP, civil and structural requirements.
• Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before issuing/revising drawings.

3. Materials & Construction Knowledge Candidate must have practical knowledge of:

• Gypsum and false ceiling systems
• Flooring and stone applications
• Marble/granite detailing
• Veneer, laminate and PU finishes
• Woodwork and modular furniture
• Glass and aluminium works
• Metal and MS fabrication
• Wall panelling
• Doors and hardware
• Paint and decorative finishes
• Bathroom and sanitary detailing
• Lighting integration
• Interior finishing and installation methods

The candidate should understand how materials are actually installed at site, including junctions, thicknesses, fixing methods and finishing details.

4. Shop Drawings & Vendor Coordination

• Review and prepare shop drawings for interior works.
• Coordinate drawings with carpenters, fabricators, ceiling contractors, stone contractors, glass vendors and other specialists.
• Check vendor/shop drawings against design intent and site requirements.
• Identify discrepancies before execution.

5. As-Built Drawings

• Prepare accurate as-built drawings based on actual site execution.
• Update architectural/interior drawings based on site changes.
• Maintain revision history and drawing records.
• Ensure final documentation reflects actual constructed conditions.

6. Drawing & Document Management

• Prepare drawings for construction and execution.
• Maintain drawing registers and revision control.
• Coordinate design changes and issue updated drawings to relevant teams.
• Maintain organized CAD/BIM files and project documentation.
