Studio Equator is expanding, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Interior Architect to join our growing team based in One City, Subang Jaya, Selangor.

As the Malaysian production office for Studio Equator Melbourne, you'll collaborate closely with our Australian team on a wide range of exciting projects across Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to gain international project experience while building your career in Malaysia.

About Us

Studio Equator Malaysia is a design production team supporting the delivery of projects throughout Melbourne, Australia. We work on concept development, design documentation, and project coordination for a diverse portfolio of projects, primarily in:

• Commercial Interiors
• Retail
• Food & Beverage (F&B)
• Hospitality
• Selected Residential Projects

Position

Interior Architect (Junior-Intermediate)

Location: One City, Subang Jaya, Selangor

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: RM3,500 – RM4,500 per month (depending on experience)

What You'll Do

• Produce high-quality interior architectural documentation.
• Assist in concept design development and design detailing.
• Prepare presentation materials and drawing packages.
• Coordinate with our Melbourne-based design team.
• Support multiple commercial and hospitality projects from concept through documentation.
• Ensure projects are delivered accurately and efficiently to Australian standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture.
• 1–2 years of professional working experience.
• Good understanding of construction documentation and detailing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively within a team.
• Passionate about design and eager to learn international industry standards.
