Interior Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, space plans, layouts, and 3D visualizations for residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare detailed drawings, including furniture layouts, false ceiling plans, flooring layouts, electrical layouts, and interior elevations.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Select suitable materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and colour schemes.
• Conduct site visits to monitor execution and ensure designs are implemented as per approved drawings.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and applicable building regulations.
• Monitor project progress, material quality, and interior finishing work.
• Prepare BOQs, material specifications, cost estimates, and design presentations.
• Review contractor drawings and resolve design-related issues at the site.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material selection, procurement, and installation.
• Ensure projects are completed within approved budgets and timelines.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, approvals, and project records.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in interior design and execution, preferably with a real estate developer or construction company.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or other relevant design software.
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, space planning, and interior execution.
• Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in residential, commercial, show flat, sample flat, or sales office interior projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and designs
• Ability to coordinate with internal departments and external consultants.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
