Interior Cost Estimator

Leach Jr, & Associates Limited (SL+A) is Award Winning Architecture & Interior Design Consultancy based in South East Asia with 13 offices in 8 countries included Bangkok.  SL+A Bangkokspecialize in the design and implementation of Corporate Offices, Institutional, Hospitality, Retails and Residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Estimating:

• Project Analysis: Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to develop a comprehensive understanding of the project requirements.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors by analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are accurately tracked and controlled.
• Vendor Liaison: Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the project and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Bid Preparation: Compile and submit detailed bids to clients, ensuring all required information is included and presented professionally.

2. Project Coordination:

• Project Planning: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed within the agreed timeframe.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
• Quality Control: Monitor project progress to ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with industry regulations and client specifications.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Issue Resolution: Address any project-related issues promptly and efficiently to avoid delays and ensure client satisfaction.

3. Quality Assurance:

• Maintain high standards of design quality and attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure that designs are implemented as planned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in preparing detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proven ability to communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Experience identifying potential project risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Experience compiling and submitting detailed bids, ensuring all necessary information is included and presented professionally.
• Good command of English.
