About CARPENTE Architecture
CARPENTE is a luxury residential architecture and interiors studio based in Notting Hill.
Founded and creatively led by Christophe Carpente, we create highly individual interiors for private clients in the UK and internationally. Our work is art-led, deeply personal and designed around the way each client wants to live.
CARPENTE was recently named among Country & Town House magazine's 50 Finest Interior Designers for 2026.
We are a small, focused studio where everyone works closely together and has the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to exceptional projects.
The opportunity
We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Interior Design & FF&E Coordinator to join our studio on a fixed-term basis, supporting the delivery of an exceptional private residential project in Dubai.
Working closely with Christophe and the wider design team, you will help coordinate furniture, fixtures, equipment, materials and finishes as the project progresses through its interior fit-out stage.
This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience on a significant international luxury residential project, contributing to the detail and delivery of a highly considered interior.
Key responsibilities
- Research and source furniture, lighting, materials, finishes and specialist suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain FF&E schedules, specifications and presentations.
- Coordinate samples, quotations, product information and material approvals.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability and lead-time information.
- Assist with procurement tracking, orders and delivery coordination.
- Maintain accurate records of design decisions, specifications and project updates.
- Assist with technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD.
- Support the senior design team in coordinating consultants, contractors and suppliers.
- Track actions and deadlines, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Provide wider studio support as required.
About you
We are looking for someone with approximately 2–4 years' experience in interior design, interior architecture or FF&E coordination.
You will ideally demonstrate:
- Experience working within a high-end residential or luxury interiors environment.
- A good understanding of FF&E sourcing, specifications and materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence producing schedules, presentations and technical documentation.
- An appreciation of bespoke furniture, joinery, craftsmanship and finishes.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work with external suppliers.
- A proactive, adaptable approach and enthusiasm for working in a small studio.
Experience working on international projects is advantageous but not essential.
Right to work
Applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK for the duration of the contract. Unfortunately, CARPENTE cannot provide visa sponsorship.
Why join CARPENTE?
You will have the opportunity to contribute to an exceptional international residential project, working alongside an experienced creative team within a studio recognised for its highly individual approach to luxury interiors.
