Interior Design Assistant

Job Summary
Our interior design firm is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the design process from concept development through project execution, ensuring that each space reflects innovative ideas, functional layouts, and aesthetic excellence. Responsibilities

• Assist senior designer in developing interior concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials using Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp and Houzz.
• Prepare detailed drawings and plans utilizing AutoCAD, CAD software to accurately depict the design.
• Support project management activities by tracking timelines, budgets, and procurement schedules to ensure seamless project flow.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors.
• Conduct site visits for remodeling and renovation projects, documenting progress and taking detailed notes.
• Assist in drafting client contracts, proposals, and specifications.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop is essential.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles.
• Experience with drafting, CAD software.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, contractors, and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
