Key Responsibilities

• Client Consultation:

  Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, needs, style preferences, and budget constraints.

• Design Development:

  Create preliminary sketches and detailed plans, including electrical and partition layouts, often using design software like AutoCAD or SketchUp.

• Material Selection:

  Choose and source furnishings, lighting, wall and floor coverings, and other essential and decorative items.

• Project Management:

  Develop project timelines, estimate costs, and oversee the installation of design elements from start to finish.

• Coordination and Collaboration:

  Work closely with architects, contractors, and other vendors to ensure the design plan is implemented correctly.

• Code Compliance:

  Ensure all design plans adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.

• Site Visits:

  Conduct site visits to monitor the progress of the project and ensure client satisfaction upon completion.

• Presentations:

  Create presentations and mood boards to communicate design concepts and material selections to clients.
