Interior Design Intern

Interior Design Intern

Studio Śra · Internship, Full-time · Viman Nagar, Pune (On-site)

₹8,000 – ₹12,000 per month + travel expenses

About the studio

Studio Śra is a boutique interior architecture practice in Pune, working across luxury residences, hospitality, and developer spaces. We’re interested in how a space actually works — how people move through it, what it’s made of, how it holds up over years rather than seasons. Our projects are material-led and detail-driven, and we see them through every phase, from first sketch to site.

You can see our work at www.studioshra.com and follow the studio on Instagram at @studioshra.

The role

An internship worth doing. You’ll sit with the design team on live projects, not on made-up exercises, and you’ll see how an idea becomes a drawing and a drawing becomes a built space. Expect to be given real work and real feedback.

• Assisting with space planning and layout studies
• Drafting plans, elevations, and details in AutoCAD
• 3D modelling in SketchUp
• Researching and sourcing materials, finishes, and FF&E
• Building moodboards, material palettes, and presentation sets
• Joining site visits and vendor meetings

What we’re looking for

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an interior design or architecture programme
• Based in Pune
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp; familiarity with the Adobe suite is a plus
• A developing eye for proportion, material, and detail
• Organised, communicative, and genuinely curious about how things get built

Why Studio Śra

A small team, which means you’ll be in the room for conversations most interns never see — client presentations, material decisions, site reviews. You’ll work directly with senior designers and the founder, and leave with portfolio work from real projects.
