Interior Design Manager (Mandarin Speaker)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and creative Interior Design Manager to lead our in-house interior design team and oversee the end-to-end design development of interior projects. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in both interior design and team leadership, with the ability to manage projects from initial concept development through detailed design and coordination with project execution teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the in-house interior design team, ensuring design quality, productivity, and timely delivery.
• Oversee the entire interior design process, from concept development and space planning to detailed drawings, 3D visualization, and final design proposals.
• Develop creative and practical design solutions based on client requirements, project objectives, and budget considerations.
• Review and approve design concepts, drawings, material selections, and presentation materials to ensure quality and consistency.
• Coordinate with clients, sales, project execution teams, suppliers, and other relevant parties throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits, site measurements, and inspections when required to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project requirements.
• Manage project timelines, allocate team resources, resolve design-related issues, and ensure deliverables meet agreed deadlines.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in interior design, with proven experience in leading a design team and managing projects.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting.
• Good English communication skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, 3ds Max, or other relevant design software.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating completed interior design projects and relevant project experience.
• Strong leadership, project management, design presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects independently.
