Interior Design Project Manager

Steven J. Leach Jr, & Associates Limited (SL+A) is Award Winning Architecture & Interior Design Consultancy based in South East Asia with 13 offices in 8 countries included Bangkok.  SL+A Bangkokspecialize in the design and implementation of Corporate Offices, Institutional, Hospitality, Retails and Residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire project lifecycle from concept development to final handover, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs, objectives, and design preferences, and ensure all specifications are met.
• Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and contractors to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Oversee fit out execution, including construction, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), ensuring all work meets design standards and quality expectations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for material sourcing, procurement, and delivery.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance with safety standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues that may arise during the construction and fit out phases.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, schedules, reports, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Prepare project status reports and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Track and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Architect or related role

• End-to-end project delivery: design, costing, construction, handover

• Experience in office, retail, hospitality, residential projects

• Planning and controlling project schedules and budgets, including variation orders

• BOQ preparation and contractor/supplier quotation comparison

• Coordinating clients, designers, contractors, suppliers and MEP teams

• Site quality control, inspections and punch list close-out

• Strong knowledge of interior materials, joinery, finishes and construction methods

• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; SketchUp or Revit is a plus

• Leadership, communication and negotiation skills

• Working English proficiency
