Your Opportunity

Guide clients through interior remodeling discovery, design direction, selections, estimating coordination, proposal, agreement, JobNimbus documentation, and clean production handoff. This is a relationship-based sales and design role, not merely an estimating function.

What You Will Do

• Develop relationships with residential and commercial clients, designers, property professionals, and approved referral partners.
• Respond promptly to company-provided opportunities while generating self-sourced opportunities through relationships, referrals, networking, and approved business development.
• Conduct consultations for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, living spaces, offices, tenant improvements, and other approved interior remodeling projects.
• Discover functional needs, aesthetic preferences, budget considerations, decision criteria, and desired timeline.
• Coordinate measurements, selections, scope development, trade input, and estimating requirements.
• Present accurate design recommendations, scopes, allowances, options, and proposals using approved processes.
• Set realistic expectations regarding selections, lead times, construction impacts, changes, and decision deadlines.
• Secure complete agreements, approvals, selections, and deposits in accordance with company policy.
• Maintain accurate contacts, notes, tasks, follow-up dates, pipeline stages, documents, selections, and communications in JobNimbus.
• Complete the approved sales-to-production handoff with verified scope, selections, allowances, photos, access information, expectations, risks, and special commitments.

The ICONIC Fast Start Program

Every new Interior Design Specialist participates in the ICONIC Fast Start Program, including company and culture orientation, interior services and selections education, JobNimbus training, consultation and sales-process training, field and showroom shadowing as applicable, production-handoff training, coaching, and defined early performance expectations.

Advancement through Fast Start is based on demonstrated competence, accurate documentation, safe practices, professional communication, and alignment with ICONIC standards - not time in the role alone.

What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days

• Complete Fast Start and demonstrate required consultation, design, documentation, and JobNimbus competencies.
• Maintain a current pipeline and organized selection records.
• Conduct supported residential and commercial consultations professionally.
• Prepare accurate proposals and complete clean production handoffs.
• Represent the Remodeling Division and ICONIC Experience Promise confidently.

Minimum Requirements

• Strong listening, communication, organization, follow-through, and visual-presentation skills.
• Experience in interior remodeling, design, estimating, selections, construction sales, or a transferable consultative field is preferred.
• Ability to balance client vision with budget, scope, feasibility, and production requirements.
• Willingness to generate relationships and opportunities rather than rely only on company leads.
• Reliable transportation and availability for local client and project appointments.

Physical Requirements

Ability to enter active or unfinished interior spaces, walk stairs and uneven surfaces, take or verify measurements, carry samples, and work around typical remodeling-site conditions with appropriate authorization and safety practices.

Independent Contractor Classification & Equal Opportunity Statement

This role is intended to be engaged as an independent contractor and reported on Form 1099, subject to the parties' written independent contractor agreement and applicable law. The contractor is responsible for applicable taxes, insurance, licenses, permits, business expenses, and other obligations of independent contractor status. Engagement may be contingent upon successfully completing applicable background and motor-vehicle-record screenings and satisfying ICONIC Home Renovations' contractor onboarding, driving, conduct, licensing, and insurance requirements.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
