Interior Designer / Architect

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Interior Designer / Architect to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a design professional with strong technical drafting and documentation skills, particularly in commercial, healthcare, and interior projects. You will work closely with clients, consultants, engineers, and project teams to develop high-quality design documentation, construction drawings, joinery details, and 3D visualizations. The successful candidate will have strong proficiency in industry-standard design software and a solid understanding of Australian building codes, regulations, and construction standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive construction documentation for commercial, healthcare, and interior projects
• Develop accurate and detailed interior construction, architectural, and joinery drawings
• Produce technical drawings and documentation using Revit, ArchiCAD, and AutoCAD
• Create high-quality 3D renderings and visualizations to communicate design concepts effectively
• Ensure drawings and project documentation comply with Australian building codes, regulations, and construction standards
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and other project stakeholders throughout the design and documentation process
• Assist with space planning, material selection, finishes, fixtures, and interior specifications based on project requirements
• Review, coordinate, and maintain the accuracy, consistency, and quality of project documentation
• Identify and resolve drafting, design, and documentation issues where required
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of attention to detail

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
• Proven experience in interior design, architectural drafting, and construction documentation
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, ArchiCAD, and AutoCAD
• Strong experience preparing construction drawings, detailed joinery drawings, and technical documentation
• Good understanding of Australian building codes, regulations, and construction standards
• Strong skills in 3D rendering, visualization, and design presentation
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of technical design principles
• Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote / work-from-home environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines
