Interior Designer

About the role

Draft23 is looking for a creative and technically capable Interior Designer to join our Bangkok team, working primarily on projects for European and Western markets. The role focuses on developing client briefs, sketches, and initial concepts into well-resolved, visually compelling interior design proposals. A significant part of our work is sales-oriented, so strong visual communication is essential. Designs need to be creative and practical while also presenting spaces in a way that is attractive, convincing, and easy for clients to communicate. Projects typically involve the development of floor plans, elevations, spatial layouts, furniture concepts, and 3D models, combining strong design thinking with accurate technical execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop client briefs, sketches, and initial ideas into complete interior design proposals.
• Create visually strong, sales-oriented designs and presentations for international clients.
• Produce detailed floor plans, elevations, layouts, furniture designs, and 3D models.
• Develop creative design solutions with careful consideration of space, proportion, functionality, materials, and aesthetics.
• Work confidently across different interior styles, with a strong understanding of European and contemporary Western design.
• Translate design ideas into clear and professional drawings and presentations.
• Use 3D modelling to strengthen the visual impact and communication of design proposals.
• Manage assigned projects independently, from initial information through design development and final presentation.
• Maintain a high standard of design quality, accuracy, and presentation across multiple projects.
• Work effectively with international clients and team members in English.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
• Ideally 3+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Strong proficiency in SketchUp, and either Vectorworks or Autocad.
• D5, Enscape, Lumion, or similar visualization software is an advantage.
• Strong creative and visual design ability.
• Excellent understanding of space planning, scale, proportion, circulation, and functionality.
• Good knowledge of materials, furniture, finishes, colors, and interior detailing.
• Awareness of a broad range of international interior design styles and trends.
• Ability to interpret sketches and initial concepts and develop them into thoughtful, complete design solutions.
• Strong graphic presentation and visual communication skills.
