Interior Designer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and creative Interior Designer to join our team. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys meeting clients, understanding their needs, developing design ideas and turning them into real renovation projects. You will be involved from the initial client consultation through design, quotation and project coordination, so you should be comfortable handling both the creative and client-facing sides of the role.

Key responsibilities

• Meet and communicate with clients to understand their lifestyle, requirements and budget
• Develop interior design concepts and space planning based on clients' needs
• Prepare design proposals, quotations, layouts and presentations
• Present design ideas and renovation solutions to clients
• Follow up with potential clients and convert leads into projects
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and site teams
• Attend site visits and monitor project progress when required
• Ensure the design and agreed scope are properly communicated to the project team
• Handle client enquiries and maintain good client relationships throughout the project
• Keep track of project details, quotations, variations and relevant documentation

About you

• Confident and comfortable communicating with clients
• Passionate about interior design and renovation
• Able to understand clients' needs and translate them into practical design solutions
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Comfortable with sales, client follow-ups and closing deals
• Responsible and willing to take ownership of projects
• Good at managing time and handling multiple clients and projects
• Comfortable working in a commission-based environment
• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
