Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Handle residential interior projects from initial client discussion to final project handover.
• Understand client requirements, lifestyle, budget, and design preferences.
• Prepare and develop 2D layouts, furniture plans, elevations, and detailed drawings.
• Create design concepts, material selections, colour schemes, and mood boards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, carpenters, vendors, electricians, plumbers, painters, and other site teams.
• Conduct regular site visits and monitor project execution.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved designs, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain BOQs, material requirements, and project documentation.
• Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of materials at site.
• Track project timelines, dependencies, and day-to-day progress.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the relevant teams to resolve them quickly.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide project updates.
• Ensure proper finishing, workmanship, and attention to detail before handover.
• Coordinate snagging, rectification, and final handover activities.
• Maintain project budgets and help control unnecessary cost overruns.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in residential interior design and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of residential interior design, materials, furniture, finishes, and construction processes.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and preferably SketchUp / 3D software.
• Knowledge of modular furniture, false ceilings, electrical, plumbing, flooring, painting, and other interior works.
• Strong vendor and contractor coordination skills.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
