Interior Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and creative Interior Designer with experience in luxury villas and high-end residential projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing elegant, functional, and visually impressive interior concepts from initial design through to final execution.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of luxury residential interiors, space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and bespoke detailing. The role requires close coordination with clients, contractors, suppliers, architects, and project teams to ensure the final result meets the required design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop complete interior design concepts for luxury villas and high-end residential properties.
• Create mood boards, concept presentations, material palettes, and detailed design proposals.
• Prepare space plans, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, lighting layouts, and interior elevations.
• Develop detailed drawings and design documentation for project execution.
• Select and specify premium furniture, fixtures, finishes, fabrics, flooring, wall treatments, and decorative elements.
• Create designs that balance luxury, functionality, comfort, and the client's requirements.
• Prepare and review 2D drawings and 3D interior designs/renders.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, MEP consultants, joinery teams, suppliers, and other trades.
• Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications.
• Review samples, materials, mock-ups, and shop drawings to ensure they meet the design intent.
• Assist with furniture, lighting, accessories, artwork, and decorative selections.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding materials, finishes, furniture, and custom-made items.
• Identify design and execution issues and provide practical solutions.
• Ensure consistency and attention to detail throughout all areas of the villa.
• Manage multiple design tasks while meeting project deadlines and client expectations.
• Maintain high standards of quality throughout the design and fit-out process.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably within luxury villas, high-end residential, hospitality, or premium fit-out projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating luxury residential interior design projects.
• Excellent knowledge of space planning, furniture layouts, materials, finishes, lighting, and interior detailing.
• Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
• Ability to produce and understand detailed technical drawings and design documentation.
• Strong knowledge of luxury materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and decorative elements.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, proportions, color combinations, textures, and lighting.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality design standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects or design requirements simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing luxury villas and high-end residential properties.
• Experience with joinery, furniture, marble, stone, premium flooring, wall paneling, and decorative finishes.
• Knowledge of luxury lighting design and decorative lighting.
• Experience coordinating interior design with renovation and fit-out works.
• Strong understanding of site execution and construction detailing.
• Experience working with high-end suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors.
• Strong presentation and client-facing skills.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
