Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer specializing in modular kitchens and modular furniture. The candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, preparing design layouts and 3D presentations, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating with clients and execution teams, and ensuring smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand their design preferences, functional needs, and budget.
• Conduct site visits and take accurate measurements.
• Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, crockery units, storage solutions, and other modular furniture.
• Prepare 2D layouts, working drawings, and 3D designs.
• Create detailed designs using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or other relevant design tools.
• Recommend materials, laminates, finishes, hardware, accessories, and color combinations.
• Prepare quotations, BOQs, and material specifications.
• Coordinate with sales, production, vendors, carpenters, and installation teams.
• Explain design concepts and present proposals to clients.
• Follow up with clients, manage design revisions, and support the sales process.
• Monitor project progress and ensure designs meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Knowledge of modular kitchen design, wardrobe design, and modular furniture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; knowledge of rendering software is an advantage.
• Understanding of modular furniture materials, hardware, fittings, and manufacturing processes.
• Good space-planning, visualization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to prepare accurate measurements, drawings, and quotations.
• Knowledge of modular furniture installation and execution is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Creative, organized, and customer-focused.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Willing to travel for site visits when required.
• Experience in an interior design studio, modular kitchen showroom, or furniture manufacturing company is an advantage.Role & responsibilities
