Interior Designer

Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aesthetic sense and the ability to translate client needs into innovative design solutions. You will work on a variety of residential projects, from small renovations to furnishing full house ensuring that each design is functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for interior spaces.
• Develop comprehensive design concepts that include space planning, color schemes, furniture selection, and material specifications.
• Utilize software such as Chief Architect, Canva , Click up to create detailed design drawings and presentations.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide clients with the best options available.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Interior Design minimum
• Proficiency in design software including Chief Architect Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), CAD, Sketch up or willingness to learn.
• Understanding of lighting design principles and their application in various settings.
• Understanding of construction concepts
• Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail in creating technical drawings using Chief Architect
• Willingness to learn new design software or become more proficient
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interactions and presentations.
• Self starter
• Experience in renovation projects is a plus.
• 3 to 5 years experience
• Salary plus bonus
