Based in the city of Udaipur, with convenient travel options, this role offers the opportunity to create bespoke, high-end interiors. From furniture to lighting and accessories, you will be instrumental in crafting complete and exquisite design solutions. Additionally, THOT also creates its own in-house furniture range, presenting an exciting avenue for professional growth within the position.

Job Description

As a Interior & Furniture Designer, you’ll assist in delivering a wide range of luxury projects from concept design through to FF&E selection and the production of detailed design presentations. You will be responsible for tracking the production of all drawings and other information required by the architects and contractors. You’ll be carrying out detailed and accurate drawing packages in line with client brief and guidelines, also monitoring the budget for each project.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conceptualizing and developing innovative design solutions tailored to high-end residential and luxury hospitality projects, ensuring alignment with client preferences and brand standards.
• Collaborating in the delivery of diverse luxury projects from conceptualization to implementation.
• Monitoring project budgets and ensuring alignment with established financial parameters.
• Assisting the sales consultants in curating/styling luxury residential projects. www.thehouseofthings.com
• Creating moodboards and presentations for said projects.
• Working closely with the sales consultants and retail team in creating the desired outcomes for the project clients and maintaining upkeep of the experience center with the required styling utilizing all the product offerings.
• Creating and maintaining visual merchandising guidelines for the team.

Your Purpose

As an experienced Interior Designer, you will have previous experience working on high-end luxury residential projects. Throughout your career, you will have managed multiple projects (both in India and abroad) and supported your design team in delivering these, in line with client expectations, budgets and deadlines.

You’ll possess great knowledge of Interior architecture & Design as well as FF&E products, finishes, their fabrication techniques and operational applications. Possessing not only design flair and creativity, you will also have excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will also:

• Be able to create bespoke projects using creative and technical skills.
• Ideate and execute styling for in-store/ client space/ for promotional activities and imageries.
• Come up with design solutions.
• Be able to work across multiple high-end residential and hospitality projects, designing bespoke pieces, and executing custom collaborations.
• Exploring diverse interior concepts and developing designs.
• Going on site and attending client meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess at least 3-5 years of experience.
• Good educational pedigree is must, international exposure adds weightage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.
• Proven experience in luxury interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects in high-end residential and luxury hospitality sectors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
