Interior Designer

We are looking for an Interior Designer who can independently manage residential and commercial interior projects from scratch to final handover. The candidate should have practical experience in design development, technical drawings, material selection, budgeting, client coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements, lifestyle, budget and project timelines through detailed discussions.
• Develop space plans, furniture layouts, mood boards, design concepts and material palettes.
• Prepare 2D working drawings, elevations, sections and construction details.
• Develop 3D models and realistic visualisations to communicate designs to clients.
• Prepare coordinated layouts for ceilings, lighting, electrical points, plumbing, flooring and furniture.
• Create detailed drawings for modular kitchens, wardrobes, custom furniture and joinery.
• Prepare BOQs, material specifications, cost estimates and project schedules.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and accessories within the approved budget.
• Present designs to clients, explain options, obtain approvals and manage revisions.
• Resolve design and execution issues, coordinating specialist technical input where required.
• Monitor workmanship, material quality, project progress and costs.
• Maintain records of approvals, site updates, changes and additional work.
• Conduct final inspections, prepare snag lists and coordinate corrections before project handover.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, with working knowledge of 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion or equivalent rendering tools.
• Strong understanding of space planning, ergonomics, materials, construction methods and interior detailing.
• Practical knowledge of carpentry, modular furniture, false ceilings, flooring, electrical and plumbing coordination.
• Ability to read drawings and translate designs into executable site instructions.
• Working knowledge of Excel for BOQs, estimates and project tracking.
• Strong client communication, presentation, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Vastu principles and AI-assisted design tools.
• Experience in vendor sourcing, procurement coordination and cost control.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
