Interior Designer (Commercial Projects)

We are looking for an experienced, creative and proactive Interior Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has proven experience in commercial interior fit-out projects and is capable of managing projects independently from concept development through site execution with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client discussions to understand project requirements, business needs and design objectives.
• Develop creative design concepts, space planning, mood boards and presentation materials.
• Produce high-quality 3D visualisations, technical drawings and construction drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp and 3ds Max.
• Prepare design proposals, material specifications, finishes and colour schemes for client presentations and approval.
• Manage assigned projects independently from concept design through project completion while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Conduct site visits to monitor work progress, resolve design-related issues and ensure construction complies with the approved design intent.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, contractors, suppliers and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in COMMERCIAL interior design projects is required.
• Portfolio showcasing completed commercial projects is optional but recommended.
• Experience in office, retail, F&B, showroom or commercial fit-out projects will be an added advantage.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of construction detailing, material specifications and site coordination.
• Confident in presenting design ideas and communicating effectively with clients, consultants and project teams.
• Able to work independently, take ownership of projects and make sound design decisions with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Passionate about design and up to date with the latest interior design trends, materials and industry practices.
