Interior Designer cum Business Development Executive

• Develop interior design concepts, space planning, layouts, material selections, and design proposals based on client requirements
• Meet clients to understand their design preferences, functional requirements, budget, and expectations, and recommend suitable design solutions
• Prepare design presentations, mood boards, material boards, layouts, quotations, proposals, and tender submissions
• Conduct site visits and site assessments to understand existing conditions and design requirements
• Select and recommend suitable materials, finishes, furniture, fittings, fixtures, lighting, and soft/hard furnishings
• Present design concepts and proposals professionally to clients and handle design revisions based on feedback
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, industry events, cold outreach, and strategic partnerships
• Generate and qualify leads, follow up on enquiries and quotations, and support sales negotiations and deal closures
• Conduct Chinese-English interpretation and translation for client meetings, presentations, proposals, emails, and business documents

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Environmental Design, or related discipline
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior design and/or business development preferred
• Strong knowledge of interior design, space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, and styling
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D software, or other relevant design software
• Strong creative, presentation, communication, and client management skills
• Fluent in both spoken and written Chinese and English is mandatory
• Able to conduct business discussions, presentations, negotiations, interpretation, and translation independently in both Chinese and English
• Strong business development skills with the ability to generate leads, develop client relationships, follow up on opportunities, and achieve sales targets
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
