Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience and skills)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer who is equally strong in the studio and on site. You will take projects from the first client meeting and concept to 2D drawings and 3D visuals, and then manage execution at site through to handover. We work on residential and commercial interiors, including apartments, villas, offices and retail spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Concept

• Meet clients to understand their requirements, budget, lifestyle and timelines
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, material palettes and space-planning layouts
• Prepare 2D drawings: floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, sections, ceiling plans, electrical and lighting layouts
• Create 3D models and photorealistic renders and walkthroughs for client presentations
• Prepare detailed working and GFC (Good for Construction) drawings for carpentry, modular kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings and joinery
• Select materials, finishes, laminates, hardware, lighting, furniture and décor
• Prepare BOQs, material quantities and basic cost estimates
• Revise designs based on client feedback

Site Execution & Project Management

• Carry out site visits, measurements and site surveys
• Visit multiple project sites across Pune regularly to supervise work
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and workers for carpentry, false ceiling, electrical, plumbing, painting, tiling, flooring and modular furniture installation
• Make sure work at site matches the approved drawings and quality standards
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely material delivery
• Track project timelines, daily progress and report to management
• Resolve site issues quickly and practically
• Prepare snag lists and ensure smooth final handover to the client

Software Skills Required

Must have:

• AutoCAD (2D drafting and working drawings)
• SketchUp (3D modelling)
• 3ds Max with V-Ray / Corona (3D modelling and rendering)
• At least one real-time rendering tool: Enscape, Lumion or D5 Render
• Adobe Photoshop (post-production and presentations)
• MS Excel (BOQs, estimates, project tracking)

Good to have:

• Revit
• Canva / PowerPoint for client presentations
• Basic knowledge of modular furniture design software

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design / Architecture
• Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in both design and site execution
• A strong portfolio of completed residential and/or commercial projects (mandatory)
• Good knowledge of materials, finishes, construction methods and detailing
• Understanding of modular kitchens, wardrobes and space optimisation
• Ability to read and explain drawings to site workers and contractors
• Good communication and client-handling skills (English, Hindi and Marathi preferred)
• Able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred (regular site travel within Pune)
