Interior Designer / Home Stager

RHOME / QUADRA is seeking an Interior Designer to support the development and execution of luxury turnkey residential, furniture purchase and staging projects. This role focuses on translating design concepts into fully realized spaces, working across all phases from client consultation and design development through sourcing, revisions, procurement, and on-site installation.

You will collaborate closely with clients as well as internal design, buying, procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure projects are thoughtfully designed, efficiently executed, and delivered in alignment with the overall design direction and project timelines.This role works closely with clients and internal design, buying, procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure workflows are followed and projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and to a high design standard in a highly collaborative environment.

ResponsibilitiesDesign Development & Execution

• Develop interior design concepts for luxury turnkey residential, furniture purchase and staging projects.
• Create floor plans, layouts, presentations, and furniture selections aligned with the project's design direction and overall aesthetic.
• Participate in client consultations and presentations to understand project needs, preferences, and design direction.
• Present furniture, décor, lighting, and styling selections to clients and respond to feedback throughout the design process.
• Manage design revisions and change requests while maintaining cohesion and design intent.
• Support consistent design quality across multiple active projects.

Project Execution & Installation Support

• Manage assigned projects from concept through installation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and design intent are met.
• Carry approved designs through sourcing, procurement, delivery, installation, and final styling.
• Oversee on-site staging and turnkey installations, furniture placement, and final styling execution.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues while maintaining design integrity and project flow.
• Make thoughtful design adjustments as needed based on site conditions, client requests, inventory availability, and project requirements.

Internal Coordination & Workflow Management

• Communicate regularly with logistics, operations, warehouse, and procurement teams to ensure workflows are executed correctly.
• Ensure design outputs align with inventory availability, delivery schedules, installation timelines, and project budgets.
• Track project progress and support alignment across all internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the broader design team throughout the design and execution process.

Sourcing & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Source and collaborate with the Buying department on furniture, décor, lighting, artwork, textiles, and material selections.
• Develop thoughtful furniture and décor selections that respond to the individual project, client, and design direction.
• Ensure design decisions align with budget, availability, lead times, and operational constraints.
• Support efficient handoff between design, purchasing, and installation teams.

Trend & Industry Awareness

• Stay current on luxury interior design, staging trends, materials, furnishings, and décor.
• Bring fresh and design-forward ideas to individual projects.
• Maintain a strong understanding of furniture, styling, scale, proportion, color, texture, and composition.
• Contribute to the continued evolution of RHOME / QUADRA's design aesthetic and project execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in interior design, staging, or luxury residential design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating residential interior design, furniture selection, sourcing, styling, or staging work.
• Experience working directly with clients through consultations, presentations, feedback, and revisions.
• Experience managing projects through installation and execution phases.
• Strong understanding of furniture, décor, materials, styling, and spatial design principles.
• Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with residential furniture and décor vendors.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and internal cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset.
• Strong aesthetic sensibility and ability to make thoughtful design decisions within project constraints.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Hybrid structure with on-site project work, office days, and remote days
