INTERIOR DESIGNER INTERN

Job Purpose

The Interior Designer Intern will assist the design team in developing interior design concepts, preparing drawings, selecting materials, and supporting the execution of residential and luxury villa projects. This role provides practical exposure to interior design, space planning, material selection, 3D visualization, and coordination with site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing interior design concepts, mood boards, and design presentations for residential projects and luxury villas.
• Prepare 2D layouts, furniture plans, elevations, and detailed drawings under senior supervision.
• Support 3D modelling and rendering of interior spaces.
• Assist in selecting furniture, lighting, flooring, wall finishes, color schemes, and decorative materials.
• Conduct site visits to observe ongoing interior finishing work and verify design implementation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and site teams regarding design requirements.
• Assist in preparing material schedules, BOQs, specifications, and design documentation.
• Research current interior design trends, materials, and innovative design solutions.
• Help ensure that design proposals meet project requirements, quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
• Perform other design-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Lumion, V-Ray, or other rendering software will be an advantage.
• Understanding of space planning, materials, lighting, furniture layouts, and interior finishing.
• Creative thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work on-site and coordinate with the design and construction teams when required.
• A portfolio of academic projects or design work is preferred.

Preferred Candidate: A creative and detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in luxury residential interiors, modern design concepts, and practical site execution, who is willing to work on-site in Islamabad.

Pay: Rs10,000.00 - Rs15,000.00 per month
