Interior Designer/Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Interior Designer/Project Manager to lead high end, innovative residential interior design projects from concept to completion. This role combines creative vision with strategic project oversight. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for design, exceptional communication skills, and a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute client presentations throughout all phases of design
• Source and select decorative items, design concept, space planning, architectural elements, color and fabric schemes, custom window treatments, and custom furniture
• Source and select construction items, stone/tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting, hardware, etc.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, vendors, general contractors, and subcontractors
• Prepare hardware, plumbing, paint, lighting, and other required schedules
• Manage drafting for manufacturing and installation of furniture, window treatments, lighting, and accessories
• Manage and prepare decorative/project budgets
• Manage client proposals, purchasing of decorative items, and deliveries, including shipping from sourcing through final installation
• Handle day-to-day project upkeep: budgets, binders, invoices, proposals, billing, ordering, and tracking
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of each project
• Maintain constant communication with the team to ensure that the design is developed according to the creative vision of the principal and the studio

Ideal Candidate

• 2–4 years of experience as an Interior Designer at a high-end residential firm, with hands-on project management responsibility
• Able to manage multiple high-end residential projects from concept through installation
• Hands-on experience with renovation projects including remodeling, construction detail documentation.
• Working knowledge of construction documents
• Able to complete projects on budget and on deadline
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment; works well independently and on a team
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, with strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Excellent client communication skills with a track record of managing multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Degree in Interior Design from a four-year accredited program
• Legal US citizen

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
