Interior Draftsman

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Fit-Out Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, coordinating with project and site teams, and ensuring drawings are aligned with approved designs and site requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, construction drawings, joinery drawings, and as-built drawings for fit-out projects.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and layouts based on approved designs and site conditions.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, MEP, joinery, and site requirements.
• Conduct site measurements and verify existing conditions before preparing drawings.
• Revise drawings based on site requirements, consultant/client comments, and project changes.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions, document control, and drawing registers.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Site Teams to ensure drawings are practical and ready for execution.
• Ensure all drawings are prepared accurately and issued within project deadlines.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fit-out, interior, joinery, or construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or other relevant software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of fit-out construction details, materials, and joinery works.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight project deadlines.
• UAE fit-out experience is preferred.
