Job Description

We are seeking a professional, well-presented, and detail-oriented Interior Design & Project Coordination Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and communication skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to coordinate design projects from concept development through procurement, installation, and final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Coordinate client projects, supplier communications, procurement activities, and project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• Shop Drawings: Prepare and review shop drawings in accordance with approved designs, site measurements, and project requirements.
• Client Presentations: Prepare professional client presentations, including concept boards, artwork proposals, material selections, and visual layouts tailored to project briefs.
• Procurement & Supplier Management: Coordinate the sourcing and procurement of locally manufactured furniture, decorative items, and bespoke design elements, working closely with regional artisans and suppliers.
• Custom Artwork Development: Collaborate with in-house artists and creative teams to develop customized artwork that reflects client preferences and project themes.
• Site Visits & Assessments: Conduct site visits to verify dimensions, assess installation requirements, coordinate site conditions, and ensure compliance with approved design specifications.
• Installation & Quality Control: Oversee installation activities, monitor workmanship and quality standards, and ensure that design intent is maintained throughout project execution.
• After-Sales Service: Manage post-installation inspections, quality checks, client follow-ups, and after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and successful project completion.
• Client & Team Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues and keep projects progressing smoothly.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in interior design, fit-out, project coordination, or furniture and decoration procurement.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, or other design software is an advantage.
• Ability to read and prepare technical drawings and shop drawings.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional appearance, polished presentation, and a client-oriented attitude.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
• Candidates with experience in the UAE interior design and fit-out market are preferred.
