Job description

We are looking for an experienced Interior Fit-Out Draftsman with a strong background in commercial interior projects, particularly hospitality interiors and office furnishing.

Expertise in preparing detailed, accurate and execution-ready shop drawings is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, working drawings and production drawings for commercial interior fit-out projects.
• Develop technical drawings for hotel guest rooms, reception areas, lobbies, restaurants, office workstations, conference rooms, executive cabins and other commercial spaces.
• Prepare detailed joinery drawings for fixed furniture, custom furniture, wall panelling, partitions, counters, wardrobes and other interior elements.
• Produce accurate plans, elevations, sections, fixing details, installation details and material specifications.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural layouts, reflected ceiling plans, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other MEP services.
• Review design drawings and translate them into technically feasible shop drawings suitable for factory manufacturing and site execution.
• Coordinate with Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, Project Managers and Production Teams for technical clarifications and drawing approvals.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma / ITI in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in residential and commercial interior projects.

Skills:

• Proven expertise in preparing detailed shop drawings is mandatory.
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge:

• Proficiency in design and visualization software, including:
• AutoCAD
• Adobe Photoshop
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Working Conditions:

• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage client expectations in a fast-paced environment.
