Interior Site Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate on-site execution of interior works, including civil finishing, flooring, wall finishes, false ceilings, partitions, painting and decorative elements.

• Ensure execution of guest rooms, corridors, lift lobbies, public areas, restaurants, back-of-house areas and other hotel spaces as per approved interior drawings and specifications.

• Coordinate with interior designers, architects, PMC, civil contractors, MEP teams and vendors to ensure smooth execution of all interior works.

• Review approved shop drawings, material specifications, finish schedules and construction details before starting site activities.

• Monitor installation of gypsum and POP ceilings, wall panelling, wooden flooring, stone flooring, tiles, carpets, joinery and fixed furniture.

• Coordinate with MEP teams for concealed services, lighting layouts, electrical points, HVAC diffusers, access panels and other ceiling and wall requirements.

• Inspect materials, workmanship, dimensions, levels, alignments and finishing quality to ensure compliance with project standards

• Monitor daily site progress, manpower deployment, material availability and contractor schedules to achieve project deadlines.

• Coordinate material samples, mock-ups and finish approvals with the design team and consultants before bulk execution.

• Identify site discrepancies and execution issues, coordinate corrective actions and ensure timely closure of observations and snags.

• Verify site measurements, work quantities and contractor progress for billing and work completion records.

• Maintain daily progress reports, inspection requests, snag lists and documentation related to interior execution.Om Royal Group is a business group with interests in real estate, hospitality, and project development. • Ensure proper protection of completed finishes and coordinate handover of completed areas as per project requirements.

• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, housekeeping requirements and the quality standards expected in a five-star hotel project.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-6 years of experience in interior finishing or related field (fit out).
• Diploma or B.Tech degree in relevant discipline (Interior Works, Interior Finishing).
• Strong understanding of interior architecture principles and design concepts.
• Proficiency in using software tools for designing and visualizing interiors.
