The Role
You’ll join a well-established and varied client portfolio, including a solid base of construction sector clients.

Day to day, you’ll prepare GST and PAYE returns, annual financial statements, and income tax returns, while supporting clients with their Xero records and broader business needs. You’ll have regular client contact, handling queries, managing deliverables, and building the kind of trusted relationships that keep clients coming back - all while delivering quality work within agreed timeframes and budgets.

You’ll also play your part in keeping the team culture strong - pitching in, sharing knowledge, and being someone people enjoy having around on a Friday afternoon as much as during a busy filing deadline.

Skills and Experience
You’ll bring around 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, with a solid foundation in preparing financial statements and returns. Exposure to a broad range of industries is valuable, and any construction and/or agri sector experience is a nice bonus given part of the portfolio.

Confidence with Xero is important, along with a genuine willingness to keep learning as legislation, technology and client needs evolve. You’ll take pride in accurate work, communicate well, and enjoy being part of a team that has each other’s backs - and a good sense of humour.
