Intermediate Accountant

Our client is a progressive and people-focused accountancy firm with a strong reputation for delivering practical advice and exceptional service to local businesses. They are seeking a motivated Intermediate Accountant to join their Hawke's Bay team in a full-time, permanent role. What you'll be doing

This is a genuinely hands-on role in a supportive team, and your work will include:

• Preparation of financial statements, taxation returns and providing technical accounting advice
• Value-added advisory work: financial systems improvements, management accounting and ad-hoc projects
• Supporting clients across a range of business advisory services

About you

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a New Zealand chartered accountancy environment is required for this role. You'll also be motivated to grow your capability and take real ownership of your client work.
