Intermediate Electrical Designer

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and update electrical design packages for asphalt paving and production equipment.
• Create and revise electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, connection diagrams, and panel layouts .
• Incorporate engineering changes, redlines, markups, and design revisions.
• Prepare electrical documentation for manufacturing, assembly, and installation.
• Perform drawing quality checks and peer reviews.
• Interpret engineering specifications, standards, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with client engineering teams and offshore design teams.
• Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and technical discussions.
• Maintain project schedules, document revisions, and provide status updates.

Required Skills:

• 3–5 years of experience in Electrical Design/Drafting .
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical CAD software.
• Strong understanding of industrial control panels, power distribution, motors, sensors, and relays .
• Experience with electrical schematics and wiring documentation.
• Ability to work with manufacturing, industrial equipment, machinery, or heavy equipment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Associate’s Degree/Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.

Preferred:

• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation .
• Background in asphalt, aggregate, mining, material handling, or heavy machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
