Intermediate Estimator

We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities/ Duties:

• Develop detailed project estimates, including materials, labour, and time.
• Prepare competitive proposals in line with client specifications.
• Source suppliers/subcontractors, ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
• Conduct risk assessments for project-specific challenges.
• Prepare and send out Tender enquiries to supply chain and review quotations received.
• Prepare Tender sum analysis, priced document/Bill of Quantities. Cross check/take off quantities from drawings as required.
• Prepare post tender valuation of submission to the construction team.
• Maintain comprehensive estimate reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with teams to align estimates with project strategies.
• Monitor market trends and update cost databases.
• File tender documentation in accordance with the company procedure.
• Attend handover meeting to brief the construction team
• Evaluate completed projects to improve estimation accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Formal engineering qualification (Honours Degree Desirable) ideally Chartered EI or CIOB or currently working towards Chartership

• Appropriate Academic and Construction Qualification, with detailed Building and Fit out Knowledge.

• Good communication skills to communicate with all members of the pre-construction/procurement team, Clients, Consultants and Directors.

• 5–7 years of construction estimating experience.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skill

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office package

Pay: €50,000.00-€70,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
