About the Role

We’re looking for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career at junior level to take on a new challenge and oversee a nationwide portfolio of commercial, industrial and retail properties.

This is a pivotal role responsible for the day-to-day delivery of facilities management services across a varied property portfolio. You will manage facilities-related projects end to end, including contractor management, budgeting and reporting.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, external service providers, clients and tenants; you’ll take ownership of day-to-day facilities operations while driving consistency, performance, and continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Include

·         Manage end-to-end facilities operations across a national portfolio

·         Oversee hard and soft services including maintenance, cleaning, security, and compliance

·         Lead and manage external FM service providers and contractors

·         Ensure compliance with NZ health & safety legislation and building standards

·         Develop and manage OPEX budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives

·         Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance programmes

·         Support workplace projects, refurbishments, and relocations as required

·         Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple sites

·         Drive standardisation, reporting, and best-practice FM processes nationwide

About You:

·         Proven experience in Facilities Management or a related role

·         Strong knowledge of building systems, compliance & H&S legislation

·         Experience managing contractors

·         A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach

·         Excellent communication skills
