Intermediate Procurement Buyer

We are seeking an Intermediate Procurement Buyer Consultant with 2 to 5 years of professional experience to join our team onsite in New York, NY. In this role, you will support end-to-end sourcing operations, contract administration, and procure-to-pay processes. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of strategic sourcing initiatives, RFP market strategies, and contract writing.
• Assist in supplier negotiations and day-to-day contract administration.
• Navigate and utilize ERP Purchasing applications and other procurement-related software.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, processes, and risk management guidelines.
• Collaborate within diverse, cross-functional teams with limited guidance to meet strict project deadlines.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation utilizing standard office software applications.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Contract Management, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant full-time sourcing and contract administration experience.

• Core Competencies:

• Familiarity with the procure-to-pay lifecycle and procurement policies.

• Proficiency in ERP Purchasing applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently, exercise solid judgment, learn quickly, and adapt to changing circumstances.
