Signature Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new multi-unit residential development in Auckland. This is an initial 6-month contract with strong potential to transition into a permanent or long-term role based on performance and pipeline expansion.

What we are looking for

We are seeking an individual with 5 years or more project management experience in NZ Construction with knowledge delivering multi-unit or medium-density residential builds being highly advantageous.

• The next great individual to join our team will be able to manage:

• On-site construction (including civil works), and working with subcontractors

• Coordinating and ensuring all aspects of onsite Health and Safety is maintained to the highest levels.

• NZS3910/3916 contract management (RFIs, Variations, EOTs and the like with support from a Contract Administrator/QS)

• Formulate new and review existing timelines as required for in MS project.

• Maintain an open, friendly, and communicative style of communication with our clients, suppliers, and contractors.

• Report weekly to the Construction Manager which will include progress on:

  • Construction timelines
  • Supplier performance
  • Sub-contractor performance
  • Health and safety
  • Project risks

• Project handovers, organising quality control assessments and managing the walk-through process with the relevant team members.
