Coleman Building Company is seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience, take on greater responsibility and grow their career within our company.

This is a full-time position, based at our head office in New Alresford and our project sites across Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing subcontract tender enquiries and analysing subcontractor returns
• Procurement and package management
• Variation management and change control
• Valuations and payment applications
• Cost reporting, CVRs, budget monitoring and forecasting
• Strong final account negotiation
• Reviewing contracts and identifying commercial risks

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have at least 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying roles
• Have strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Be confident dealing with clients, subcontractors and consultants
• Have experience in residential construction, refurbishment and main contracting
• Have experience with JCT contracts
• Have strong Excel skills; experience with Xero or Procore would be advantageous
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Be organised, proactive and commercially driven

💷 £45,000–£50,000 per annum (including car allowance)
