Intermediate Revit Drafter

Summary

• Full-time Intermediate Revit Drafter.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Structural drawings and 3D models that meet company standards.
• Assist Engineers with the layout of structures.
• Coordinate drawings with other consultants.
• Support and mentor other drafters, with the opportunity to grow into leading the drafting team.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Proficient with Revit, with strong wood frame modelling experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Thorough understanding of Structural and Architectural drawings.
• Familiarity with structural materials and construction processes.
• Strong organizational and self-directed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Thoroughness in completing tasks with attention to detail.
• Desire to improve systems and innovate.
• Ability to work in a team environment and work towards common goals.

Required Training & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a structural drafting position, including wood frame projects.
• BCIT or VCC Drafting Certification (or equivalent) preferred.
