Intermediate Revit Technician - Structural

About the role

HFC: Structures is seeking a Revit Technician to join our team in Christchurch. This is a full-time position where you will utilise your expertise in Revit to deliver high-quality structural design documentation for a range of exciting projects. Ideally, you would have experience working within the residential sector (bespoke architectural houses, multi-unit developments)

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and maintaining 3D Revit models for structural engineering designs
2. Producing detailed construction drawings, schedules and documentation using Revit
3. Collaborating with the wider design team to ensure the structural design is accurately represented in the Revit models
4. Continually improving Revit standards and processes to enhance efficiency and quality

What we're looking for

1. 3+ years of NZ experience as a Revit Technician, ideally within a structural engineering environment
2. Strong knowledge of Revit & AutoCAD software, including its application for structural design and documentation
3. Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methods
4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers and the broader design team
5. Proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail
6. Proven experience detailing concrete, precast & steel structures
7. A strong client & team focus, with a passion for delivering quality documentation
8. Relevant qualification in drafting, engineering or architecture
