Intermediate - Senior BAS Accountant

Our client is a well-established and respected mid-tier Chartered Accountants firm based in Invercargill. Renowned for delivering high-quality accounting, taxation and business advisory services, they are seeking an experienced Intermediate-Senior BAS Accountant to join their supportive and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing financial statements, tax returns and GST returns.
• Managing a diverse portfolio of SME and commercial clients.
• Building strong client relationships and assisting with tax and business advisory.
• Supporting junior team members and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Skills & Experience

• Relevant accounting qualification recognised in New Zealand or Australia.
• 2-6+ years' experience in accounting, with public practice experience preferred.
• Strong BAS, GST, tax and financial reporting knowledge.
• CA ANZ studies completed, underway, or a genuine desire to progress towards CA.
