Intermediate - Senior Electrical Engineer

Will work under the direction of a Principal-Electrical, the Electrical Engineer/Designer will be responsible for electrical design of commercial, institutional and telecommunications projects.

Candidate's roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

General Duties:

• Working with and preparation of detailed diagrams, plans, drawings, reports and presentations Coordinating, assessing and organizing the work of the various projects
• Using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other resources to design the systems required for the various projects
• Liaising closely with other professionals, including architects, structural engineers, contractors, builders, and surveyors
• Attend a range of project, group and technical meetings
• Promoting energy efficiency and other sustainability initiatives Review design compliance with relevant Codes and Standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Electrical Engineering and Canadian P.Eng. required.
• Electrical building services engineering experience within consulting environment
• Familiarity with municipal and provincial Safety Codes and Authorities
• Knowledge of drafting practices
• AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel experience with current releases
• Focus on Power Systems (Three Phase Machines, Power Engineering)
• Read, write and correspond using the English language

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
