Intermediate / Senior Structural Engineer

Major Responsibilities

• Experience in Concrete, Steel and Wood design
• Site inspection and evaluation of existing buildings
• Preparation of study reports, Reserve Fund Study etc.
• Preparation of drawings and specifications for rehabilitation projects
• Perform structural analysis and design for existing and new commercial and industrial buildings
• Complete structural calculations for residential, commercial and industrial buildings or structures
• Prepare proposals and project related documents
• Coordinate and guide technical staff in preparation of design drawings and documents
• Coordinate structural designs and documents with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing etc.)
• Provide structural engineering support during construction, attend project design and site meetings
• Interact with all project stakeholders.

Professional Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering;
• Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA as EIT or P.Eng.
• Min. 8 years of related experience in structural design in North America is required
• Proficient in general structural engineering design software such as STAAD Pro.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great team player
• A valid driver's license
