Intermediate UX/UI Designer

About the role

Our client is looking for an Intermediate UX/UI Designer to join the design team and play a key role in shaping the digital experience across its web-based property management products.

This is a hands-on role covering the end-to-end design process from research and wireframing through to high-fidelity prototypes and developer handoff with a strong focus on mobile-responsive web applications built in Figma, while setting the design standard for the team.

Key responsibilities

• Design intuitive, mobile-first, responsive web interfaces for property managers and tenants
• Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups and interactive prototypes in Figma
• Plan and conduct user research, usability testing and A/B testing to inform design decisions
• Contribute to and maintain the product design system for consistency across digital touchpoints
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation and reduce handoff friction
• Work cross-functionally with the General Manager, operations and marketing teams
• Maintain clear design documentation and keep Monday.com up to date

About you

• 2–4 years of professional UX/UI design experience, ideally in a product or SaaS environment
• Strong proficiency in Figma (prototyping, components, auto-layout, design systems)
• Demonstrated experience designing mobile-responsive web applications
• Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and information architecture
• A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking with measurable outcomes
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• The right to work in New Zealand
