Interment Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train Interment Staff to ensure the consistent delivery of the Forest Lake brand of service in interments.
• Communicate accurate information on interment procedures, fees, requirements, policies and the like.
• Physically attends interments at the sites to ensure that service standards are adhered to and not compromised.
• Communicate directly with family members or authorized representatives of the deceased to ensure that the services provided meet the needs of the family and respect traditions and religion.
• Coordinate with interment crew, interment contractors and other 3rd party suppliers and service providers on schedules, equipment, facilities and other logistical requirements.
• Monitors implementation of interment standards and procedures, as well as application of policies by all staff and contractors.
• Plan, organize and oversee interment services to ensure that these are personalized and memorable events for each client.
• Attends to and addresses all concerns and complaints raised in relation to interments.
• Monitors interment revenues, costs and expenses.
• Checks, collates and submits monthly interment reports .

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of any four-year college degree program.
• With at least 3 years work experience in a customer facing role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc).
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to communicate empathy and compassion.
• Service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and able to work under pressure, with minimal supervision.
• Able to display composure and professionalism in handling emotional, irate, demanding and difficult customers.
• Works in an organized manner and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Willing to render overtime as needed
