INTERN ACCOUNT/FINANCE

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Intern Account/Finance to join our Finance team at PKJUITA SDN. BHD. This is a full-time internship position based in Kulai District, Johor. As an Intern Account/Finance, you will support the accounting and financial reporting functions of our organisation, gaining practical experience in financial accounting practices whilst contributing to the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your professional skills in a supportive environment and understand how financial operations function within a business setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, receipts and expense reports
• Support the reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Help with data entry and verification of financial transactions into accounting systems
• Prepare supporting documentation for financial reports and audits
• Assist in the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and reconciliations
• Help with filing and organisation of financial documents in compliance with company procedures
• Perform general administrative tasks to support the finance team
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting information

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other office software applications
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems
• Previous accounting or finance experience is desirable but not essential
