Intern - Accounting Executives

An Accounting Executive manages daily accounting operations, maintains financial records, and ensures regulatory compliance for an organization.

Core Responsibilities

• Daily Operations: Handle full sets of accounts, process vendor and customer invoices, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ledger checks, and resolve discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly management reports, profit-and-loss statements, balance sheets, and audit schedules.
• Compliance: Ensure financial transactions adhere to local tax laws, statutory filings, and company accounting policies.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretaries.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (professional certifications like ACCA, CPA, or MIA are often preferred).
• Experience: Typically 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience handling full sets of accounts (some roles accept fresh graduates with relevant training).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software (such as SAP, QuickBooks, or Tally).
• Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: RM1,200.00 - RM1,700.00 per month
