Intern, Air Freight

About the role

During this internship, your daily job scope consists of different areas within the department of Airfreight. Overall in charge for the day-to-day operations for both systems as well as physical operation.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the team towards achieving Customer target/KPI and expectations
• Attend and respond to all issues via emails or written correspondences pertaining to warehouse operation and ensure all queries are attended to
• Prepare and ensure all daily, weekly and monthly reports are submitted promptly and correctly
• Responsible for daily planning of the operations
• Gather and check all required documentation and reports prepared by subordinates
• Ensure prompt feedback from subordinates regarding any work related problems/issues encountered
• Ensure that any other work related duties given is completed within the specified timeline
• Ensure compliance to customers and other relevant authorities and operating instructions
• Manage, monitor and ensure proper filing for the job completed
• Achieve a good result in internal and external audits

About you

• Diploma and/or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with minor in logistics and supply chain
• Previous experience dealing with customers is an added advantage
• Able to write and speak professionally in English
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• At least 4-6 months internship availability
