What Were Looking For:

Must Have

• • Engineering background - B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of software development fundamentals.
  • Comfortable working with APIs, JSON, databases, and basic technical concepts.
  • Ability to write clear requirements and communicate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Curiosity to understand how products work behind the interface.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership.

Good to Have

• • Experience with tools such as Postman, SQL, Figma, Git/GitHub, etc
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and API testing.
  • Experience building a college project, website, application, SaaS product, or automation.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Lovable, or similar tools.
  • Prior internship or project experience in Product Management, Software Development, Business Analysis, or QA.

• • Build something and can explain how it works.
  • Can look at a problem from both a user and engineering perspective.
  • Can identify edge cases others havent considered.
  • Can prototype an idea using AI/no-code/low-code tools.
  • Question existing processes instead of simply following them.
  • Can communicate clearly with engineers, designers, researchers, and business teams.
  • Have strong ownership and are willing to get into the details.
